Hello! I may be more than a little bit bias in saying that Canada is a wonderful country.
As for the weather up here, since Canada is a large country, its weather varies greatly from one location to the next. Generally speaking, because Canada is further north than the US, it's naturally colder.

There is a nice weather map of North America here
which gives a good idea about the current summer conditions in Canada and how they compare to those in the States.

that gives a nice yearly summary of the weather in various Canadian cities.
